Our first external conference took place from 3rd to 5th July at the Archabbey of St. Ottilien, Germany. In addition to a guided tour of the abbey, the doctoral students were able to present their dissertation projects in detail. After a selected member of the faculty and another doctoral candidate had commented on the project, the discussion was passed on to the plenum.
