Due to Covid regulations our annual Junior Network Workshop had to be held online. This year, we are pleased to inform you, that it will once again take place at university.
We would like to give students and Phd candidates the opportunity to exchange views on the current relevance of researching the Middle Ages. Therefore, we invite students to present relevant bachelor’s, master’s and dissertation theses that are either still in progress or have already been completed. Of course, the workshop should also serve to discuss the contents, but this year the focus should be on the importance of one’s own work with regard to research and society. Especially in current debates, the humanities and cultural studies are repeatedly accused of being obsolete. We firmly disagree with this and invite you to give us your take on the matter. We are looking forward to hearing about your projects and their social contribution from all fields. Of course, we also invite all students who are at an earlier point in their studies and do not wish to present anything.
If you would like to talk about your project, please let us know by 6th June 2022. For all others, who wish only to participate as active listeners, a simple e-mail is sufficient.
The workshop will take place on 17th June 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UNIPARK 3.108.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
